Expecting a Pinkish White Glow Results for 24 7 In Love

I ought to write something about having a pinkish white glow skin, but first off, I want to share my thoughts about 24/7 In Love and Suddenly It’s Magic, which seem to be trekking the same path. Here it goes…

--

I am wondering whether or not the latest offering from Star Cinema, which was co-produced by Star Magic, 24/7 In Love, was a hit or tragic like the last film that aired before its run – Suddenly It’s Magic.

Before I start ranting about my reasons why I won’t watch 24/7 In Love and why I am writing this instead of a piece about having a pinkish white glow skin, this is my take why Suddenly It’s Magic turned tragic. Oh boy, the movie poster was a disaster. It is as if they have spent all their resources on the leading man’s talent fee, whom most Pinoys know as the guy in the Thai movie, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, than his real or screen name. He may be cute and charming. The movie could have done better if it was given a leading lady with a solid following, like Kim Chiu or Sarah Geronimo.

Instead of choosing a leading lady (who has a pinkish white glow – maisingit lang) who looks good with just about anyone paired to them, they have tapped someone who looks better in grim roles, like Aswang, than in any stories that are light and aimed to make people feel in love and kilig. Some of Erich Gonzales fans, at the time of the movie’s promo, would argue that she was the first choice, so opinion-givers can no longer do anything about it. Now it was proven that we can do something and that is to decide not to watch this flop film. I know what they will say now – that the movie is still being shown in other countries or that Star Cinema already regained its money because it has sold the movie rights to its Thailand counterpart, and so on. Whatever they say, nothing can change the latest figures that this movie has created at BOM – it flopped and the magic really turned tragic.

Now on to 24/7 In Love – I have a feeling that this is headed the tragic route as well. It features the biggest artists of Star Magic, such as John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo and Piolo Pascual. It has the hottest loveteam that caters to teens and pre-teens, KathNiel and it was promoted as the comeback film of KathNiel predecessor, KimErald.

Its selling point, aside from the artists, was the compilation of seven love stories in one film. The downside to this is that, based on the teasers and trailers, all these stories are sort of “gasgas.” I no longer need to pay for it just to prove that I won’t enjoy the film. Oh well, I really won’t enjoy it because I am craving for Kim Chiu’s other loveteam, which is KimXi (Kim Chiu and Xian Lim), than the one that was featured in this movie. Of all the artists and their fan bases, I think that only the fans of KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) would seriously plan on checking this out, simply because most of them are young, but I don’t think that this will be enough to turn this film into a hit.

This is only my hunch though, that this is going to flop and will show box office results that is only a little higher than Suddenly It’s Tragic, er Magic. I’ll be very surprised, but happy, if I turned out to be wrong. Piolo needs a hit movie and the story of Sam Milby and Pokwang seems cute, but it is still not enough for me to brave the cinemas and watch Kim with Gerald Anderson, haha! Bitter! I know, right?

The good thing about this movie though is it’s movie poster. It was far beyond my expectations after the Tragic’s poster, but the two layouts for the 24/7 In Love film looked awesome. Kudos to whoever made these.

Back to my pinkish white glow article, but hoping that the next movie from Star Cinema would be better than these two. Is it going to be the MMFF entry, Sisterakas? Oh good Lord, not again hehe!

---

Edit: December 10, 2012

Based on the figures at BOM, the gross of 24/7 In Love did not turn out to be as bright and shimmering as the number of stars that were part of its cliche stories.

Angelica Panganiban Vents Out on Twitter

Some like it hot, but some like it not. For sure, there must be a pretty good reason why Angelica Panganiban had chosen to vent out on Twitter regarding the issues with Derek Ramsay and John Lloyd Cruz.

For sure, this doesn't stop here. As of this posting, Angel is still answering some questions that are thrown at her. I adore this girl and I like her with John Lloyd. I really hope she finds real happiness that will make her forget all the pains and scars from her past that she's obviously still trying to mend.

Senator Tito Sotto - Getting More Famous for the Wrong Reasons

This needs to be posted. If Senator Tito Sotto thought that the issue will eventually die a natural death, well, this letter only proves that this is far from over. No one is ridiculing him. He only needs to learn to give credit where it is due, apologize when it is appropriate and never undermine "bloggers".

Another Uh Oh Moment for Gerald Anderson

I don't want to post the photos here, but for those who have Instagram, you can check Fashion Pulis' account - micsylim, to see the clear versions of the photos that have been posted on this popular blog. While at it, you may also want to read the blind item that the blogger wrote about the subject of the leaked pictures.

Just to warn you though, the blind item is definitely not for those who are die-hard AshRalds. In summation, this has vindicated Mommy Divine from all the harsh words that she has been getting on how overprotective she is of Sarah Geronimo.

Here's the link to the blind item, with supporting clearer photos at the author's IG account - Did Mom Know Best?

Oh well, Gerald is still a boy. I just hope that he does not use his charms to make vulnerable women fall for him, especially if he is still not serious about getting involved in a commitment.

As for Sarah, for sure you have been told many times that good things come to those who wait and yeah, good men, too.

Sandara Park aka Dara of 2NE1 is on Twitter

Sandara Park is on Twitter! Yey!

She's tweeting in Korean characters... Booo!

Even though she is now known as Dara of the hit Korean group, 2NE1, many Pinoys still love her and will remember how she made it appear that to be a krung-krung is cool at the height of her popularity here in the Philippines.

Is Jolo Revilla the Real Life Sir Chief of Jodi Sta. Maria?

The news may no longer surprise anyone. For one, they are not an in-demand team-up, so good for them, because they can pursue their hearts' desires without anyone putting up online protests or fans who will threaten to "make saboy the asido" to any of them (very Kimerald ang peg hehe!).

Are Jolo Revilla and Be Careful with My Heart's very effective female lead, Jodi Sta. Maria, breaking the news about their rumored romance gently through Twitter?

Senator Tito Sotto on His Plagiarism Issue

OOPS, HE DID IT AGAIN....

End of post. He would not listen anyway. He would even mock those who are correcting his claims. Let's see what the future holds for this senator who makes Sen. Lapid look genius all of a sudden by continuously making himself look and sound like a fool.

Haaaaay....

PS:

Can't really help, but add more to this post. Sorry, Sen. Sotto, I just really think that until you have learned to be humble and apologize to whom it's due and stop copying other people's thoughts and translating other people's work, etc etc, the issue about plagiarism will haunt you. Oh boy, I can no longer remember your arguments about the RH Bill.

You paved the way for a new word to be discovered, one of the current Twitter trending topics, which is #Sinotto. This generally refers to any kind of original work (mostly songs) that are translated into Filipino. What led to such?

First, Sen. Sotto gave another speech (his last, hopefully), about RH Bill, but taunted his audience in the end by saying that - "The last part of his speech was in Filipino so that he would no longer be accused of plagiarism," as per the tweets of ANC.

Here are the other tweets that summed up that it really wasn't Sen. Sotto's lucky day yesterday.

After mocking his audience by stating, "nakakatawa sila," how could he and his family expect to get respect? The senator seems to have a hard time showing such not only to the commoners and "mere" bloggers who listen to his speeches, but also to the original creators of the words that he claimed as his own (he did not cite  nor thanked his references).

This sums up his latest blunder that led to the creation of the word, "Sinotto."

credits to original owner (got this from Twitter)
These two images, I got from Facebook. These made me laugh. If only Sen. Sotto would stop thinking that he could get away with his blunders by being arrogant and he would instead apologize and admit his mistakes, he will not end up as a laughingstock like how many people now perceive him to be.

Credits to the original owners of these images:

When Sen. Sotto would not apologize to blogger, Sarah Pope, many people criticized him that made him think that he was being bullied in the cyberspace.

And now, with his latest booboo, comes this reaction:

What a legacy you will be leaving behind, Sen. Sotto. Tsk, tsk, tsk...

Vice Ganda VS Ate Gay

Ate Gay is one good comedian who is only waiting for the right opportunity to shine. He never fails to make me laugh whenever I catch him doing short skits and gags on his appearances at various local TV shows. He can make people laugh without degrading them (a lot) and this is what makes him different from more famous comedians, like Vice Ganda.

Vice Ganda's forte is to make people look bad and ugly and make them feel "tanga" in order to exude his audience' laughter.

When Ate Gay expressed his excitement on his Twitter account that he was tapped to replace Vice on It's Showtime while Vice would go on a break for weeks, I was happy. I just thought that finally, Ate Gay's time has come and wondered, "May babalikan pa kaya si Vice."

Well, they have different strengths, I guess. There are audiences, of course, who prefer Vice's style, but there are also those who have yet to discover the funny antics of Ate Gay. His quite famous skit, The Door, is frequently used on It's Showtime's rival, Eat Bulaga, by Allan K and the trio of Jose, Wally and Paolo.

Now that Vice is already on vacation, Ai-Ai delas Alas took his spot on the show. Something obviously happened, which led to these tweets of Ate Gay.

To add fuel to the fire, Ogie Diaz, Vice's former manager whom he also had an issue with in which Ogie until now, had chosen to remain silent about, retweeted Ate Gay's reply to one follower and added his comments as well.

ABS-CBN must once again help Vice get out of this mess before he could gain any more detractors, but they must also take a second look at Ate Gay. This one is certainly a diamond in the rough and a big threat to those who have already experienced success and let it gone into their heads.

The Hits and Misses at the Star Magic Ball 2012

While cramming for a deadline last night, I could not help but peek at the updates and photos about the annual Star Magic Ball at different online sites. I am not a fashion guru, but for my simple taste, here are my takes on how the Kapamilya stars have chosen to shine last night at the ball or made no effort at all in dimming their own lights.

Credits to the owners of the pictures below. I got most pictures from PushPEX and Twitter:

SUPAH HOT!
Those smiles spell one thing- HAPPINESS.
They really look like a real couple here.
They deserve the Couple of the Night award that they got.
Kim Chiu is Queen Chiu.
She has really mastered her fashion sense.
She amazingly looks like a real star.

Xian Lim, shining on his own without Kim by his side.
His time has finally arrived. Gwapo sobra (drools).
Super wow for Maja Salvador!
She looks like a goddess here and she rightfully
deserves the Female Star of the Night award that she got.
Julia Montes should have exchanged looks with Maja for the ball.
She looks as if she was groomed to appear quite older than her real age.
This night could have been her chance to let her youth shine by letting her hair down
and by wearing something like Maja's attire. Oh well, she won Sweetheart of the Night for this manang look.

Kathryn Bernardo is very pretty and this simple gown fits her age.
She's even prettier with cutie Daniel Padilla by her side.
I like Daniel better without his glasses though.
Their team-up won the Breakout Fashion Award

Bea Alonzo in a gown, which cannot be worn by those who have weak hearts.
It suited her though, her bulky yet shapely figure compliment the style and material of this creation.
Megan Young proves that not all morenas cannot shine in black.
What is she still doing in local showbiz? She ought to try modeling.
Shaina Magdayao strutting a sexy back, but this gown
would look better on Angelica Panganiban.
This is a pretty gown, but it does not suit Angelica Panganiban.
She should have traded gowns with John Lloyd Cruz' ex.
They are cute, literally. This is Ella Cruz, looking like she's enjoying her youth (ehem, Julia Montes) and partner.
Nikki Gil knows that she looks good with this kind of look,
so she appears at every special  Kapamilya event looking like this. It gets boring, girl.
It's a good thing that Billy Crawford looks dashing by your side.
Bianca Manalo, looking like a winner even though she was dateless that night.
Yeng Constantino looking like a sweetheart.
Maricar Reyes is another effortless beauty.
I'll include this on the hit list because this made me laugh.
This former Going Bulilit star stayed loyal to the night's theme, which is black and white.
He was like saying, "Take a back seat, Empoy. I am here."
Here's a list of the winners for this year's ball.

Jawdropping Stunner award- Bea Alonzo
Standout Star- Coco Martin
Prince and Princess of the Night- Julia Barretto and Julian Estrada
Sweetheart of the Night - Julia Montes
Hot Mama award - Carmina Villarroel
Hot Papa award - Gerald Anderson
Breakout Stlye Award - Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo
Stars of the Night - Enchong Dee and Maja Salvador
Fab Pair - Maricar Reyes and Richard Poon
Couple of the Night - Xian Lim and Kim Chiu
Star Magic Icons - Diether Ocampo and Angelica Panganiban.

Dawn Zulueta may not have gotten any award that night,
but this picture proves that she's "unkabogable"
She's the rightful recipient of the award as the ball's stunner.
If there are hits, there are also lots of misses in the night's ball.
It is a beautiful gown, but worn by the wrong person.
Erich Gonzales looked better last year when she wore an orange gown that complimented her complexion.

It takes guts for someone like Enchong Dee to snatch something from Kuya Germs' closet.
I can already imagine him doing Walang Tulugan 40 years from now, and yeah, he won an award, sighs...
Bangs Garcia obviously wanted to win the Worst Dressed Award, and you did it girl.
You even got a bonus for also being the most deserving for the Worst hairdo award.
Did she do that on purpose? She looked like a caricature.
This is Myrtle, by the way, the winner of the last PBB Teens batch.
The gown is fabulous, but I cannot stare long at her picture.
She's young, but in this picture, it's quite obvious that Andi Eigenmann has aged a lot after becoming a mom.
Charee Pineda in a gown that looks as if it was not intended for a glam ball.
I'll end this post on a positive and yummy note. OMG, Enrique Gil, you deserve the Hot Papa Award that night. Come on, ABS-CBN, this one looks to be the most fitting for the role of Captain Barbell.

PS:

In my own humble opinion, my best dressed and stand out stars who shone the brightest, exuding excellent taste in fashion and confidence for this one-night and once in a year only affair are:

and

Ina Kapatid Anak of Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and Many More, Soon on ABS-CBN

Finally, the fan in me would soon be back watching a prime time show on ABS-CBN. I can't wait for the airing of Ina, Kapatid, Anak and hopefully, a Kim Chiu-Xian Lim movie also soon. Come one, Kapamilya, you'd be giving us a burger, why not add some fries as well? Haha!

What is JuliElmo?

I still can't get over the one response I got after reacting to another nonsense Twitter trending topic on a lazy Sunday afternoon. After the JuliElmo launching movie failed big time on the tills, I just find it amusing that the team-up still keeps on trending on Twitter. This leads me to the conclusion exactly as I tweeted that not all that trends on Twitter is really popular beyond (not even the whole cyberspace) but on Twitter alone.

I commend the other fans of the team-up for not overreacting like this one. By now, you should all be used to these kinds of taunting. Instead of getting irritated, you must all prove that Julie Ann Jose and Elmo Magalona are indeed famous and the next time they will have a project, you must all unite and help their presence be felt beyond the list of Twitter trending topics.

Kris Aquino VS Sarah Geronimo

Will this tweet lead to a bigger issue between Ms. Kris Aquino and Sarah Geronimo?

This all started with the persistent requests of the fans of Sarah for Kris to guest her on the show, Kris TV. For the longest time, the staff of the show has been trying to ask Viva, Sarah's handler, to give them a chance to be able to give in to the fans' requests. It did not happen even at the height of the promo of Sarah's concert last July, and it seems to be getting bleaker now that the pop princess is still being hounded by the sudden decision of Gerald Anderson to stop courting her.

We all know Kris to be frank and candid with the way she throws questions to her guests. She's unstoppable  and most people actually love her for it. With this tweet from Ms. Kris stating that she's getting irritated already by the accusations that she does not like Sarah, is this going to start a rift between the two or will this finally convince Viva to allow Sarah to guest on Kris' show?

Let's all wait and see...

What Sen. Tito Sotto Ought to Learn about Humility

I was not interested at first with this story, but these words caught my attention...

"Ba't ko naman iko-quote yung blogger? Blogger lang yun."

It would not matter that much if these were said by a bystander or a high profile person who speaks the truth. But these strong words were said by a Philippine senator, Tito Sotto. To put it in context, he said that it was not the blogger whom he was quoting, but the expert to whom the blogger had gotten her insights about the post.

You can read more about the comparison between the senator's speech and the blogger's entry here - Blogger claims Senator Tito Sotto copied parts of his anti-RH Bill speech from U.S.-based blog.

Even a grade-schooler would know that although one or two words were changed, in effect, it was still the blogger's post that the senator had quoted or else he could have used his own words in trying to educate the masses about the essence of the expert's, Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD, work. What he did was incorporate his own experiences in relation to the words that he had lifted from the blogger whose name is Sarah Pope.

It would have been okay if the senator had accepted his mistake of forgetting to give credit where it is due, after the story has been told, but nope, he remained arrogant and stood by his crooked reasoning. To make matters worse, this was posted by his staff, only to ignite more fuel to the fire. This has proven another thing - the chief of staff is more arrogant than the boss.

      Pix courtesy of @HecklerForever

This is, in essence, the point of it all, from the blogger who was quite surprised to get entangled in such huff.

"A thief is a thief."

You can read more about her post in response to the senator's denial at this site - On Plagiarism, The Pill, and Presumptuousness

Now that the issue is getting into the nerves of more people, even those who are not much interested with the RH Bill or The Pill, but more on people's feelings and the importance of originality, there are some who keep on digging more faults into the the now infamous speech.

The latest about this is quite unbelievable if proven true. This should put a halt to the senator and his staff's arrogance. They must all learn to be humble, accept mistakes and apologize. More about the latest on this issue here - Did Sen. Sotto copy from 5 bloggers?

For the senator, please be careful with your words. Of all people who would belittle a blogger by saying "Blogger lang yun," I was not expecting that it would come from someone who had gotten similar insults in the past for being, "Artista lang yun."

I smell that someone would lose a job to save the face of his boss. The senator's camp must now look into less popular blogs that talk about humility and apology so that they can come up with a good response to put an end at this issue, but never admit that they only copied people's words because they are merely bloggers. For us, the masses, we should really be careful the next time we will make our vote. There may be some celebrities who have big brains and heart, but there are also some, like in this sample, who deserve to be taunted, Artista lang yan.

#PrayForThePhilippines

Let's take this time to pause and pray for everyone's safety here in the Philippines as the rain continues to pour and many areas are already flooded, despite the fact that there is no typhoon. This is no time to point our fingers and blame anyone for this fate, but it is high time that we all learn our lessons about proper garbage disposal and care for Mother Nature.

Here's a list of the important emergency hotlines that may come in handy during these times of casualties.

Twitter is also a very good resource to get updates regarding the condition at various areas in the country. Kudos to the Philippine government as well for giving updates regarding the cancellation of work and classes as early as 2 AM.

Praying for everyone's safety and really hoping that this rain would stop soon.

The Reunion with Xian Lim Hits the Cinemas on August 15

Since the kids in the house would not be admitted to the now showing Kim Chiu film, The Healing, this one, which has Xian Lim on the cast, for sure, they would not want to miss. Hopefully, the next movie from Star Cinema would be something which will feature both Xian and Kim. I am not that excited with the other casts, including guest stars (hello Cristine Reyes! booo!) of The Reunion, but aside from Xian, my nieces would also enjoy this flick because it has Dasho Jao aka Enrique Gil =) To be shown on August 15!

Will This Put an End on the Kristen Stewart-Rob Pattinson Love Saga?

Just when you thought that you have witnessed one great love that would last longer than the Twilight saga, you would wake up one day and lo and behold, found out that Kristen Stewart has cheated on  Robert Pattinson. According to reports, the couple were still seen happy and sweet in recently held events, making some people wonder if Rob had any knowledge about his girlfriend's short fling with Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

According to reports, Kristen was devastated (who wouldn't?) and called this short (yet steamy) fling a complete lapse in her judgment. Aside from Kristen being involved with Rob (and their relationship is highly publicized), the director is married with two kids.

With this (devastating) development, all the Twilight and Robsten enthusiasts are now waiting if the final installment of the Twilight saga, which will be shown in November, will also put an end to the relationship of its two lead stars.

Here's the complete article from Yahoo OMG.

LATEST UPDATES!

After the admission, come the inevitable apologies. The latest on this story is that Kristen has issued a public apology for Rob and all those who have been affected by the incident. Here’s a quote from her apology.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Read the rest of the details about Kristen’s side at People.com.

The director has also issued a public apology and I quote:
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
More on this story at People.com.

Now everybody’s waiting for Rob’s reaction and statements. Rob, who previously said these strong statements in an April interview at Italian Vanity Fair regarding infidelity:
"But there's a thing I've never got: That is, why do people cheat? I can understand the impulse. But not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long … I'm not the casual-affair kind of guy. If I choose to be with someone, it's because I really want it. When I have a relationship, I'm 100 percent into it."
This story still has a long way to go. One thing is for sure though, the final installment of the Twilight saga, which stars Rob and Kristen, would surely get a dose of publicity. Whether or not it would help boost the movie on the tills, we would all find out on November 16.

What Could Have Been for Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson

Is the Sarah Geronimo-Gerald Anderson romance headed to the drain? It was only blooming, but a local showbiz reporter has hinted on his Twitter account through a series of posts masquerade as a blind item (but you would not think of any other team-up with the given clues) that Gerald has finally given up on courting the young super star.

Here are the scaps of the controversial tweets that made Ogie Diaz the sudden object of hatred and bashing from the hurting fans of Sarah and Gerald, collectively known as AshRarld.

As a fan of the former team-up of Gerald with Kim Chiu, I was not ecstatic at all when he began declaring his admiration for Sarah on national TV. Sarah is so much like Kim, naïve, funny, childish and they both seem to fall in love quite easily. Gerald turned his back on Kim abruptly to seek someone whom he was attracted to from the very beginning, Bea Alonzo. Bea, who seems to be Gerald’s ideal girl, is very far from either Kim or Sarah, not only in terms of looks and figure, but also because unlike the two, Bea appears to be more experienced and matured.

After failing to maintain his relationship with Bea when he could not admit her to the public, as an spectator, I was expecting that Gerald’s new girl would now be more like Bea than Kim.

I know, Bea is happy now, so she should no longer be dragged into this. I am just trying to think why Sarah’s mom would hinder the development of romance between Sarah and Gerald. Aside from his tinted past, as luck would have it, Gerald is very vocal that Rayver Cruz is his best friend and he is often seen hanging out with Rayver and his (bad example) girlfriend, Cristine Reyes.

From the looks of it, Sarah is still not comfortable being around with Rayver and Cristine, when poked, would still say negative things against Sarah. If ever Sarah and Gerald would be a pair, Gerald then would have to choose if he’d spend more time with his GF than his BFF. Spell complicated!

The whole romance thing between Sarah and Gerald is very much publicized, making more people doubt Gerald’s intentions. There are now articles that are coming out, which say that Gerald is being used by Viva (Sarah’s management) for Sarah’s shows and concerts to be talked about. For me, it is the other way around. Sarah’s concerts would be jam packed, her projects would be successful (as long as the concept is good, so X mark for Idol and another X for her current show, Sarah G Live), even without linking her to anyone.

It is true though that everybody wants to find out whom she’ll end up with. Most people, including this blogger, want her to be with someone without any hidden agenda. I may be being unfair with Gerald because he may be serious this time and had suddenly forgotten his fascination for meztizas, but I am pretty sure many people would have the same doubts.

In this story, the person who will get the most anger is actually not Gerald but Sarah’s Mommy Divine. She appears to be quite strict even though Sarah is of the right age. The mother needs to learn how to slowly let her child go. Sarah needs to experience life and not just see it pass by her. She needs to be hurt in order to learn. She needs to make her stand and learn how to decide on her own.

As much as I sympathize with the mother, my heart bleeds for Sarah as well. If I were in her position, I’d be very depressed right now. She works very hard for her family. It is high time that she be given the kind of freedom that she needs and deserves. If this won’t happen now, I think that this would lead to a very big gap between the mother and the daughter, something which could be very hard to mend. The mother, while doing her best to protect her child, did not realize that she had also caused and continue to cause her biggest pains.

Before Sarah could find the right man and the right love, she needs to find her voice and learn how to stand on her own. By doing so, she will become a better person and a better performer. The princess has grown and it is high time that she realizes that life is not a fairy tale. And as for her mother, she should allow her child to write her own story before she ruins everything for her and before her child sees her as her biggest antagonist than an ally.

In the end, I just hope that Sarah finds her happiness and Mommy Divine learns how to accept. As for Gerald, he should also try to find himself first, be pretty certain about any of his endeavors before delving into these so that he won’t end up hurting anybody in the process even if he did not intend to.

Edit:
To add fuel to the "fire" that remains to be a blind item until now, Gerald's friend, Young JV, twitted this:
LATEST UPDATES ::: JULY 26, 2012

As per the latest tweets of Ogie Diaz, he said that he had sources who told him that Gerald and Sarah would try to work this out. While this still has to happen, another blind item makes many people conclude that the subject is pertaining to Gerald. This is about an actor still being in love with someone whom he courted before, but it did not work out well when the actress got terrified with threats that she got from the actor’s cohorts. Now the actress is already involved with another actor and the main subject hasn’t moved on yet from his feelings for her.

Oh well, papel, this is another story that still has a long way to go.

CONCLUSION ::: JULY 30, 2012
After everything that has happened and said about this issue, for me, this has already been concluded with this picture (courtesy of PUSH)

and these words coming from Sarah's mother:

Even though the mom seems to be on the hot seat these days, with people urging her to allow a bit of freedom for her daughter (me, included), the bottom line still remains that we only see what's being in shown in front of the camera.

No matter how good of a daughter Sarah is, I don't think that she would allow herself to be manipulated by her parents, especially now that she is 24, if the parents did not give her enough reasons to love them above anyone else.

I can feel her overflowing love for her parents and the latter's fervent wish for their daughter to find a "real man" who can love her even more. If Gerald could not handle the "strict rules" of Sarah's parents now that he is still courting her, how could he last into a relationship with Sarah given the fact that she'll always be her parents' daughter?

Life is not just about kilig. Sarah has still not found her match, a man who will love her (including the parents and siblings) unconditionally. She needs someone who will be there for her and shower her with love more often off cam than when the cameras are there.

While others may say (and I think that I have also voiced out same opinion) that Mommy Divine should allow her child grow and let her experience the pains of love, we should also take into consideration that this kind of family bonding that they have is rare. And the exemplary love of Sarah for her parents is something that they must be proud of.

Sarah is a genuine person who deserves someone who has pure intentions.

Enough said. For those who were not able to watch the Sarah G Live episode where the parents' guested, here's a summary from PUSH of what happened.

THE HEALING Starring Vilma Santos and Kim Chiu Opens July 25

The last time I watched a Chito Rono-horror flick, I was not able to sleep for days without hiding in the sheets, afraid that I might see "Lotus Feet" walking towards me. As much as I'm not so into horror films, this is definitely a must-see. I just hope that I can get even one friend to accompany me (most of them were also traumatized by Louts Feet). My nieces would not, even though they are also big Kim Chiu fans. Oh, come on, Star Cinema, please do give Kim Chiu a film that kids could also watch (SOON). What about that Kim-Xian Lim project, pretty please. The people have spoken through the results of Yahoo OMG. We want to see more of KimXi =)

This image, I got from PEX. This version of the movie's poster is actually better than the one released by Star Cinema. This is more eerie. The official poster looks like it was not sure if the movie is drama or comedy =)  Credit as tagged and good job!

=) Thank You for Visiting tSiSmoSa! (=
